Cream Puff Dessert
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1 c. water
- 1 c. flour
- 4 eggs
- 3 pkg. instant vanilla pudding (may use any flavor; I've tried chocolate and butterscotch)
- 3 c. milk
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
- 8 or 9 oz. carton Cool Whip
- 1/4 c. chocolate syrup
- Preheat oven to 400u0b0.
- Bring water and butter to boil.
- Remove from heat.
- Add flour; beat well until mixture forms a smooth ball, which leaves the pan clean.
- Put it immediately into mixing bowl.
- Beat in one egg at a time.
- Beat until thick and glossy and dough will break from spoon.
- Pat in lightly greased 10 x 15-inch pan.
- Bake 35 minutes.
- Press puff down with spatula (it will be quite large).
- Cool.
- Mix pudding and milk.
- Whip cream cheese with 1/4 cup milk and mix with pudding and milk.
- Spread over cooled crust.
- Cover with Cool Whip; drizzle with chocolate.
