Pecan Bars
- 4-IN-1 COOKIE DOUGH
- pkg. (250 g) Philadelphia CreanTheese, softened
- 3/4 cup butter, softened
- I cup granulated sugar
- 2tsp. vanillat
- 21/4 cups flour
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- BEAT cream cheese, butter; granulated sugar and vanilla in large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed until well blended.Add flour and baking soda; mix well. Cover.
- PECAN BARS
- PREHEAT oven to 350u0b0F. Press dough firmly onto bottom
- of ungreased 15 x 10 1-in, baking pan. Bake at 350u0b0F for
- 20 min. or until lightly browned.
- MEANWHILE, combine 2 eggs, I cup firmly packed brown sugar,
- 3 cup light corn syrup, 1/4 cup melted butter and I tsp, vanilla
- util well blended. Stir in 3 cups chopped pecans.
- SPREAD evenly onto warm crust. Bake an additional 20 to 25 min. or until topping is firm around the edges and slightly soft in the centre. Cool completely. Cut into 60bars.
- Makes about 5 dozen bars, I bar per serving.
