Chocolate Covered Bacon
- 7 1/2 cups of chocolate
- 1 1/2 cups of sugar, seperate
- 3 jumbo sized eggs (yolk and whites seperate)
- 5 slices of bacon
- 5 cups of marshmallow
- extra toppings (if requested)
- 1 teaspoon of water
- first, melt the chocolate in a heat resistent bowl and pour half of the chocolate in another bowl, then stir in 1/2 of the marshmallows, sugar, and all the egg whites.
- then, in the other bowl, mix in the remaining marshmallows, sugar, and all the yolk.
- then in another bowl mix the two chocolate mixtures, then the water until it has a close to pasty thickness, then temper the chocolate.
- then for the bacon take it and put it on an electric baking skillet or nonstick pan for about 4-5 minutes flipping every minute.
- now you dip the bacon into the chocolate mixture, and put them in the refrigerator, on a nonstick aluminum foil sheet for about half an hour, to allow the chocolate to harden, then repeat about 2-3 times, where at the last dip you add the extra toppings (if requested for toppings).
