Chocolate Cake With Chocolate Frosting

  1. CHOCOLATE CAKE
  2. Heat oven to 350, Grease and flour 13 by 9 pan or 2 layer pans. Measure all ingredients into large bowl. Blend 1/2 min. on low speed, scraping bowl constantly. Beat 3 min. on high speed, scraping bowl ocasionally. Pour evenly into pans. Bake oblong pan for 40-45 min. Bake layer pans for 30-35 min. Cool
  3. CHOCOLATE FROSTING
  4. Mix thoroughly batter and cooled chocolate. Blend in sugar. Stir in vanilla and milk, beat until frosting is smooth and at spreading consistency. Fills and frosts two layers or 13 by 9 pan.
  5. For 3 layes use: 1/2 c. soft butter, 3 oz. melted unsweetened chocolate, cooled, 3 c. confectioner's sugar, 2 tsp vanilla and 3 tbsp. milk
