White Christmas Mousse(In Honor Of Sep Palin, Along With Greyhound)
- 2 1/2 bars (3 oz.) white chocolate with hazelnuts
- 1/3 c. warm milk
- 2 egg whites (room temperature)
- 1 c. whipping cream
- dash of lemon juice (fresh)
- dark chocolate curls or shavings
- Melt the white chocolate with hazelnuts in double boiler, stirring occasionally.
- Gradually add warm milk, stirring until smooth; allow to cool.
- Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form; gently fold into chocolate mixture (the white chocolate mixture). Whip cream until stiff; fold into white chocolate mixture.
- Add lemon juice; stir lightly.
- Spoon into 1-quart glass bowl, or 6 individual stemmed dessert glasses.
- Chill at least 2 hours; garnish with dark chocolate curls or shavings.
- One may also want to place a maraschino cherry on the top to garnish.
