Holiday Fruit Salad

  1. Combine egg yolk, sugar, vinegar and butter in a small saucepan; cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture comes to a boil and thickens.
  2. Remove from heat; add marshmallows, stirring until melted.
  3. Cool.
  4. Stir in whipped topping.
  5. Pour dressing over fruit; toss gently until well coated. Yield:
  6. 8 servings.

pineapple, peaches, oranges, apple, banana, maraschino cherries, pecans, egg yolk, sugar, vinegar, butter, marshmallows, frozen whipped topping
