Chocolate Crinkle-Top Cookies
- 1 1/2 Cups All Purpose Flour
- 1 1/2 TSP powder
- 1/4 TSP Salt
- 1 Pack 12 OZ Chocolate Chips divided
- 1 Cup Sugar
- 2 TBS Marg. softened
- 1 1/2 TSP Vanilla
- 2 Egg Whites
- 1/4 Cup Water
- 1/2 Cup Powdered Sugar
- Preheat oven to 350* Combine flour,powder, & salt in small bowl.
- In heavy saucepan (or microwave) over low heat melt 1 cup of chocolate chips, until smooth.
- In Lg bowl beat sugar,marg,& vanilla,beat in melted chocolate, then add egg whites.
- Gradually add flour mix.& alternate w/ water.
- Stir in remaining morsels, cover & chill until firm. Shape dough into 1 1/2 " balls, roll in powdered sugar.
- Bake 10-15 min.or until sides are set but center is still slightly soft. Cool 2 min. Remove to racks.
