Meatloaf
- Glaze Topping
- 1/4 cup Heinz ketchup
- 1 Tablespoon light brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon Guldens mustard
- Dash of hot pepper sauce(Tabasco)
- Meat Mixture
- 1/2 cup Heinz ketchup
- 2/3 cup saltine cracker crumbs
- 2 Tablespoons milk
- 1 large egg
- 1 Tablespoon light brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon Guldens mustard
- 1/3 cup grated onion
- 1/4 cup finely chopped red pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon dried sage leaves
- 1/2 teaspoon fresh ground pepper
- Dash of hot pepper sauce
- 1 pound ground beef chuck
- 1/2 pound ground veal
- 1/2 pound ground pork
- Preheat oven 350Au0b0 F.
- In a small bowl whisk together glaze ingredients.
- In a large bowl whisk together all the remaining ingredients except for the ground meat. Add the ground meats to the wet ingredients till incorporated (don't over mix). Free form a loaf shape on a sheet pan. Spread glaze on top. Bake meat loaf for 1 hour 15 minutes. Let meatloaf stand 10 minutes before slicing
