Broccoli And Cauliflower With Lemon And Garlic

  1. Slice tender stems of broccoli in thin rounds and break florets in small pieces.
  2. Rinse broccoli and cauliflower in cold water; drain thoroughly.
  3. Over medium high heat, saute garlic in oil and cook until golden.
  4. Remove garlic and set aside.
  5. Increase heat to high and add vegetables.
  6. Stir-fry 2 minutes.
  7. Add water and mix well.
  8. Cover and cook until vegetables are crisp-tender, about 2 to 3 minutes.
  9. Uncover and cook until remaining liquid evaporates.
  10. Add salt and pepper.
  11. Mix in garlic and lemon juice. Sprinkle with lemon zest.
  12. Makes 8 to 10 servings.
