Brownie Drops
- 2 bars (4 oz. each) German sweet chocolate
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 2 eggs
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. unsifted flour
- 1/4 tsp. baking powder
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 3/4 c. finely chopped pecans
- Melt chocolate and butter over hot water.
- Stir to blend; cool.
- Beat eggs until foamy.
- Add sugar 2 tablespoons at a time, beating until thickened, about 5 minutes with mixer.
- Blend in chocolate mixture.
- Add flour, baking powder, salt and cinnamon; blend.
- Stir in vanilla and pecans.
- Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased baking sheet.
- Bake in moderate oven (350u0b0) until cookies feel set when lightly touched, 8 to 10 minutes.
- Store in tightly covered container.
- Makes about 36 cookies.
