Mom'S Buns/Cinnamon Buns
- 3 cups warm tap water
- 5 1/2 tbsp. sugar
- 2 tbsp. Ferripan yeast (Fleishman's Fast Rising Yeast)
- 6 tbsp. oil
- 2 eggs
- 7-8 cups flour
- 1 tbsp. salt
- If making cinnamon buns:
- butter
- cinnamon
- brown sugar
- raisens
- 1. Mix yeast and 4 cups of flour.
- 2. In a separate bowl mix eggs, watrer, sugar, oil and beat well. Add to flour and yeast, mix well.
- 3. Then blend in the other 4 cups of flour and salt.
- 4. Let stand 20 minutes
- 5. Punch down
- 6. Let stand another 20 minutes
- 7. Make into buns, let rise for 1 hour. (If it is cold in the kitchen when rising buns, put in the oven with a warm dish of water and light on oven)
- 8. Bake 350 degrees farenheit for 15-18 minutes
