D.U.M.M. Breakfast Pie
- 1 lb. pork sausage
- 1/4 c. chopped onion
- 2 1/2 c. loose-pack hash brown potatoes
- 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese (4 oz.)
- 1 3/4 c. milk
- 1 c. baking mix (Bisquick)
- 4 eggs
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1/4 c. shredded Cheddar cheese (1 oz.)
- Heat oven to 400u0b0.
- Grease glass pie plate (10-inch).
- Cook sausage and onion in a skillet; stir frequently until fully cooked and drain.
- Mix sausage, potatoes and 1 cup of cheese in pie plate.
- Beat remaining ingredients except 1/4 cup cheese with wire whisk or hand beater until smooth; pour over sausage mixture. Bake 40 minutes or until golden brown and knife inserted in center comes out clean.
- Sprinkle 1/4 cup cheese on top; bake 2 minutes to melt cheese.
