Lemon Orange Cake

  1. In a mixing bowl, cream butter, shortening and sugar until light and fluffy.
  2. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  3. Combine dry ingredients; add to creamed mixture alternately with buttermilk, beginning and ending with dry ingredients.
  4. Stir in extracts.
  5. Pour into 3 greased and floured 9-inch cake pans.
  6. Bake at 350u0b0 for 25 to 30 minutes or until cakes test done.
  7. Cool for 10 minutes in pans before removing to wire racks to cool completely.
