Penne A La Vodka

  1. Saute onion in olive oil/butter till translucent
  2. Assemble sauce
  3. 2 28 oz cans of crushed tomatoes
  4. 2 crushed garlic cloves
  5. Put Vodka, garlic and onions into tomato sauce (also all of the olive oil/butter remains from pan)
  6. Pinch of sugar
  7. 1 1/2 teaspoons of salt
  8. Cook on medium heat (Vodka will evaporate) for 45-55 minutes
  9. Add 1 cup heavy cream, stir and heat thoroughly
  10. Pour over cooked macaroni
  11. Add 2 teaspoons fresh parsley (basically for eye appeal)
  12. Parmesan to taste after all combined
