Quick'N'Easy One Bowl Eggless Bread

  1. Pre-heat oven to 350
  2. Place dry all ingredients in large bowl
  3. Hand mix so yeast is mixed in well with other ingredients.
  4. Creat a well in the flour mixture by pushing flour up along the sides of the bowl
  5. Add approx. 1 1/2 c. warm water and mix
  6. As dough begin to form begin kneading. Add more water as needed, dough should be mostly dry and not sticky (add more flour if it's too wet)
  7. Add oil and knead into dough
  8. cover with lastic wrap and leave in a warm place to rise (at least 1/2 hour or until double in size)
  9. Punch down dough
  10. If you like a chewy but light dough, let rise again. This dough can rise and be punched as much as 4 times without ruining outcome.
  11. When ready, shape dough as desired* and place in greased (lightly sprayed with non stick spray)loaf pans or other baking pan of choice.
  12. Bake 30-45 minutes or until tops are light brown and when tapped you hear a hollow sound.
  13. *you can coat the top of the loaves with an egg wash or oil and sprinkle sesame seeds, caraway seeds, poppy seeds or crunchy onions on top for an taste
  14. If using a food processor, add all dry ingredients and pulse to combine. Turn machine on and slowly pour the water through the feed tube until dough begind to ball around blade. Add oil and allow machine to run 1 minute. Transfer to a large bowl, cover with plastic wrpa and continue as per directions.
  15. If using a bread maker, follow machine instructions for order of ingredients.
