Chocolate Raspberry Streusel Square
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 1 1/2 c. oatmeal
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 c. margarine
- 1 c. raspberry preserves
- 1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/4 c. chopped almonds
- 1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
- Heat oven to 375u0b0.
- Combine flour, oats, sugar, baking powder and salt.
- Cut in margarine until mixture is crumbly.
- Reserve 1 cup oat mixture for streusel.
- Press remaining oat mixture onto bottom of ungreased 9-inch pan.
- Bake 10 minutes.
- Spread preserves over crust.
- Sprinkle evenly with chocolate chips. Combine reserved oat mixture and almonds.
- Sprinkle over chocolate chips.
- Pat gently.
- Bake 30 to 35 minutes until brown.
- Cool and drizzle with melted chocolate.
- Let set before cutting.
- Makes 3 dozen.
