Apple Pie With Special Crust

  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 350oF. 15 minutes before baking.
  2. 2. Juice your lemon into a large bowl. Peel and cut the apples no thicker than 1/4 inch. Use a melon baller to dig out the core of the apples. Mix the apples with the lemon juice. Mix in the cinnamon sugar.
  3. 3. Stir into a medium bowl the flour, baking powder, salt and suar. Add the oil and the cold water to the dry ingredients. Mix into a soft dough.Divide and roll out the bottom crust onto the pie plate. Sprinkle the bottom crust with a little flour. Fill with the apple mixture. Roll out the top crust and add it. Pinch the edges and sprinkle with cinnomon. Prick the top of the crust with flour.
  4. 4. Bake for 45 minutes.
