Codfish Cakes
- 1/2 lb salted cod fish,boil for io min then break into pieces
- 1/2 lb regular cod loin or otherwise,
- salt to taste
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp of frish minced thyme
- 1 1/2-2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp lemmon juice
- 1/2 onion chopped
- 1 bundle of green onions chopped
- for the dip
- 6 tbsp curry powder
- 1/2 cup heavycream
- mix the broken up fish with all dry ingredience,add water till the batter is realy thick an in between bread dough and batter consistency,then spoon with tbsp into deep fry oil temp 350% for one min until done of oil is shallow turn cake till done
- ......For sauce heat 2 tbsp oil put curry stir till it starts to get dark add cream and 6 oz water add salt to taste let reduce on low heat for 5 minthicken with cornstarch and put in bowl use ass optional dip for dish
