Company Chicken Casserole
- 2 c. cubed chicken
- 2 c. chopped celery
- 1/2 c. blanched slivered almonds
- 1 c. water chestnuts, sliced
- 1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
- 2 Tbsp. minced green onion
- 1/2 tsp. seasoned salt
- mayonnaise
- 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 jar small button mushrooms
- 2 hard-boiled eggs, quartered
- 1/2 c. fine dry bread crumbs (heaped)
- 2 Tbsp. melted butter
- 1/4 c. Parmesan cheese
- Combine first 8 ingredients in large bowl; toss lightly.
- Add Worcestershire sauce and enough mayonnaise to moisten.
- Spoon into buttered 8 x 13-inch baking dish.
- Arrange mushrooms and eggs over top.
- Combine bread crumbs, butter and cheese in small bowl. Sprinkle over chicken mixture.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 15 to 20 minutes or until bubbly.
- Yield: 6 to 8 servings.
