Shrimp And Tilapia Burgers
- 2 Tilapia Filets
- 6 Medium-sized shrimp (peeled and tail removed)
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 1/4 cup green onions (chopped)
- 1/4 of a medium sized onion
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 small slices of whole wheat bread
- Dash of salt and pepper
- 1 Teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 Teaspoon cumin
- 1 Teaspoon ginger
- 1/2 of a lemon (squeezed)
- Tablespoon olive oil
- 1 egg (beaten)
- A few tablespoons of flour
- 4 Whole Wheat Buns
- Sautee 4 of the shrimp and a filet and a half of the fish.
- Beat the egg and then puree the leftover fish and shrimp along with the onion, garlic, green onion, and the remainder of the ingredients/spices/egg in a food processor.
- Add flour as neccessary to thicken and dry the batter.
- Flake the sauteed fish and chop up the cooked shrimp. Gently fold this into the puree.
- Form into patties and saute in a pan until brown on both sides.
- Serve on whole wheat buns with Corn and Red Pepper Relish.
