Oyster Casserole
- 1 c. margarine
- 3/4 c. flour
- 1 1/2 tsp. paprika
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 clove garlic, minced
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1/2 medium green pepper, chopped
- 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 qt. fresh oysters
- cracker crumbs
- Preheat oven to 400u0b0.
- Grease a 2-quart casserole.
- Melt margarine in large pan over medium heat.
- Remove from heat; add flour and stir until smooth.
- Return to heat and cook, stirring constantly for 5 minutes or until light brown.
- Add paprika, salt, pepper, garlic, onion and green pepper.
- Cook 3 to 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
- Add oysters and Worcestershire sauce.
- Stir well.
- Pour into casserole.
- Sprinkle with cracker crumbs.
- Dot with butter.
- Bake at 400u0b0 for 20 minutes.
