Chicken Parmesan
- 6 to 8 deboned, skinless chicken breast halves
- 1 c. Italian bread crumbs
- 3 Tbsp. butter
- 1 egg
- 1 large jar Prego sauce with mushrooms
- 1 can sliced mushrooms
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. Mozzarella cheese
- 16 oz. pkg. thin spaghetti noodles
- Cook spaghetti noodles according to package directions.
- Drain and set aside.
- Beat egg in small bowl with fork.
- Dip each chicken breast in egg, then coat in bread crumbs.
- Melt butter in frying pan.
- Cook chicken breast over medium heat until browned on both sides.
- May need additional butter.
- Spray 13 x 9-inch baking dish with vegetable spray.
- Place drained noodles in dish, top with chicken.
- Pour Prego sauce over top of chicken.
- Cover with foil and bake at 400u0b0 for 45 minutes.
- Remove foil; top with Mozzarella cheese slices.
- Bake 8 to 10 minutes longer until cheese is melted.
