Green Bean Casserole
- 2 Cans French cut green beans well drained
- 2 Tbsp. Butter
- 1 small onion chopped small
- 2 cloves garlic finely chopped
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms
- 1can low salt cream mushroom soup
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1tsp Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup grated white cheddar cheese
- 2 cups fried onion rings about 1 Large can.
- In skillet melt Butter and saute Onion 2 minutes, add Garlic and saute 1 minute more. Add Mushrooms and cook until golden. Stir in Soup, Cream and Worcestershire sauce. Bring to simmer. Stir in Cheese. Add Salt and Pepper to taste. When Cheese is melted add Drained Green Beans, Toss to coat. Put into a well buttered casserole. Bake in preheated 350% oven until bubbling, about 30 minutes. Remove from oven and top with Fried Onion Rings, Put back in oven about 15 minutes, till Onion Rings are crispy and browned. This can be prepared and refrigerated before baking. Will take a little longer to bake when cold.
