Teryaki Turkey Meatloaf
- Meatloaf:
- 1 lb ground turkey 93/7
- 1/2 cup diced onion
- 1/2 cup diced red bell pepper
- 1 jalapeno (I seeded half)
- 1 Tbls sesame oil
- 1 tsp ginger powder
- 1 Tbls garlic chili paste
- 1 can pineapple chunks (drained)
- 1-1&1/2 cup oatmeal (quick)
- 2 eggs
- 3 OZ. diced sharp white
- cheddar, diced, small cubes.
- 2 Tbls teryaki sauce..
- Sauce:
- 1/2 cup Ketchup
- 1 Tbls brown sugar
- 1/2 Tbls teryaki sauce
- Combine all the meatloaf ingredients in a bowl and let rest for a few minutes. Put the mixture in a loaf pan and bake for 45 minutes at 350'. While that is cooking mix the sauce ingredients, after the meatloaf has cooked for 45 minutes add the sauce to the top and cook for an additional 15-20 minutes.
