Captain Naughty Rum Cake

- 3/4 cup chopped pecans
- 1 package yellow deluxe cake mix
- 1 small box instant vanilla pudding
- 4 eggs
- 1/2 cup cold water
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup rum
- Glaze
- 1/4 stick of butter
- 1/4 cup of water
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup rum
- Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Spray or butter bundt pan. Mix all cake ingredients in medium bowl. Sprinkle pecans evenly on bottom of pan. Pour cake mixture over pecans and bake for 1 hour. A few minutes before end of baking melt butter, water, and sugar, in a small pan on stove. Add rum. Remove cake from oven and spoon mixture over cake still in bundt pan. Let cake set in pan for 15 minutes then remove from pan and allow to cool completely before serving.
