Easy Apple Pie
- deep dish pie prepared pie crust.
- FILLING:
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 1 1/2 cups sour cream
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 8 large MacIntosh apples, peeled cored and sliced.
- TOPPING:
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1 1/2 cups oatmeal
- Filling: combine egg, sour cream, sugar flour, salt and vanilla. beat until smooth. Add apples to mixture. spoon into chilled pastry shell. Bake at 450 for 10 mn then reduce to 350 for 35 additional mn
- Topping:
- Combine all ingredients and mix thoroughly. Sprinkle evening over baked pie. Bake at 350 for 15 mn or until lightly browned. Store in refrigerator.
