Linguisa Chilli Dip
- Chilli
- 1 Linguisa Sausage
- 1 Spanish onion
- 1 Serrano Pepper
- 1 Jalapeno Pepper
- 2 Lg. cans Crushed Tomato
- 1 Shallot
- 2 Tb. spoon Toasted Cumin
- 1 t. spoon Cayene Pepper
- 2 cloves Garlic
- 1/2 cup Parsnips
- 1/4 cup Butter
- 1 Lindor truffle (Black pkg.)
- Kosher Salt and Freshly Ground Pepper to taste
- 1 pkg. 1/3 less fat cream cheese
- 1/2 jar good Hot salsa
- 1/2 cup colby jack shredded
- 1/2 cup cheddar shredde
- To Prepare Chilli-
- Grind linguisa through meat grinder .
- Melt butter in sauce pan add onions and shallots, saute 3-5 mins, then add peppers, saute for 5-7 mins.Add linguisa and saute for 3-4 mins Place parsnips and garlic in for 10mins then add tomatoes. Add cayene and chocolate simmer on very low for one hour.
- Pre-heat oven to 400
- In 9" pie plate spread cream cheese on bottom of pan, swirl in with spoon hot salsa then add chilli. Lastly add the cheese.
- Bake for 15 mins
- Serve with tortilla or corn chips.
