Chocolate Thumbprint Cookies

  1. Cream 1/2 cup butter, 2/3 cup sugar, egg yolk, 2 tablespoons milk and 1 teaspoon vanilla in bowl until light and fluffy.
  2. Add mixture of flour, cocoa and salt; blend well.
  3. Chill for 1 hour. Shape into 1-inch balls.
  4. Dip into beaten egg white.
  5. Coat with mixture of chopped nuts and 2 tablespoons sugar.
  6. Place on lightly greased cookie sheet.
  7. Make indentation in center of each.
  8. Bake at 350u0b0 for 10 minutes, or until set.
