Apple Dumplings

  1. Spray counter lightly with non-stick cooking spray.
  2. Combine rolls and roll into a 12-inch circle.
  3. Cut circle into 8 equal wedges.
  4. Place an apple slice onto the wide end of each wedge.
  5. Roll the dough around the apple slice.
  6. Place the wrapped apple slices in a sprayed 9x13-inch baking dish.
  7. Cover the dish with plastic wrap and let rise 30-40 minutes.
  8. Melt butter, stir in vanilla and both sugars.
  9. Pour over risen dumplings.
  10. Pour soda over dumplings and sprinkle with cinnamon.
  11. Bake at 350u0b0F 20-30 minutes.
  12. Spoon syrup from pan over the dumplings to serve.
