Spicy Shrimp Over Rice
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon cayene
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon thympe
- 2 pounds shrimp, large
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
- 2 clove garlic, minced
- 3/4 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup dry white wine
- 4 scallions, thinly sliced
- Add the first seven ingredients in a large bowl and add the shrimp, let stand 15 minutes
- In a large skillet, over high heat add 1/4 cup oil and add shrimp, worcestershire sauce, pepper sauces and garlic. Saute for 2 minutes.
- add another 1/4 cup of oil, chicken broth and wine, cook 2 minutes.
- remove shrimp to platter.
- add scallions to skillet and boil over high heat for 3 minutes. Pour over shrimp and serve with french bread.
