Chocolate Chip Pound Cake
- 1 (18oz) box yellow cake mix with pudding in the mix
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 (3oz) box instant chocolate pudding
- 3/4 cup vegetable oil
- 3/4 cup water
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 (6oz) package semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 tsp vanilla flavoring
- Sifted powdered sugar
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large bowl, combine cake mix, sugar, and pudding mix, stirring with a wire whisk to remove lumps. Add oil, eggs, water, and sour cream, stirring until smooth. Stir in vanilla and chocolate chips. Pour into greased and floured 12-cup bundt pan or 10-inch tube pan. Bake for 1 hour or until wooded toothpick inserted into center, comes out clean. Cool in pan for 15 minutes before removing. Let cool completely and sprinkle with sifted powdered sugar.
