Excellent Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies
- 2 1/4 Cup all- purpose flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 Cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
- 3/4 Cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 Cup packed brown sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 2 eggs
- 2 Cup (12 oz.) Nestles Toll House Semi Sweet Morsels
- 1 Cup chopped nuts
- 3 Cups quaker quick oats
- Preheat oven to 375.
- Combine flour, baking soda and salt in small bowl.
- Beat butter, granulated sugar and vanilla in large mixer bowl.
- Add eggs one at a time beating well after each addition.
- Gradually beat in flour mixture.
- Stir in oats.
- Stir in morsels and nuts.
- Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased cookie sheets.
- bake 9 to 11 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let stand for 2 minutes.
- Remove to wire racks to cool completely.
