Spaghetti Sauce
- 2 to 3 lb. ground beef
- 29 oz. can tomato sauce
- 1/2 large can V-8 juice (tangy)
- 12 oz. tomato paste
- 1 oz. sour cream (can be omitted or more added)
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 large green pepper, chopped
- 1 tsp. minced garlic
- 1 tsp. mustard
- 1 Tbsp. honey
- 2 tsp. taco sauce
- 1 tsp. white or brown sugar
- parsley flakes
- sweet basil
- celery seed
- celery salt
- pepper
- garlic powder
- garlic salt
- chili powder
- oregano
- Italian seasonings
- arrowroot
- anise seed
- Simmer for a couple hours.
- If not thick enough, mix cornstarch in cold water,
- 1/4 cup, and add to sauce.
