Quick Chick Toffee Fix
- 3/4 cup butter, melted
- 1 box chocolate chip Teddy Graham cookies, fine crushed
- 1 bag English Toffee bits (in the baking section)
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup pecans
- 1 cup walnuts (I love only pecans in mine.)
- 1 can (14 oz.) sweetened condensed milk
- 1. Preheat oven to 325F. Line a 13x9 inch pan with nonstick foil, allowing foil to extend over ends of pan. Pour melted butter into pan. Sprinkle cookie crumbs in bottom of pan; press firmly and bake for 5 minutes.
- 2. Layer toffee bits and next three ingredients over crust in pan, pressing each layer down firmly. Pour condensed milk over top. Bake for 30 minutes or until edges are lightly browned. Cool (put in refrigerator for a couple of hours) BEFORE trying to remove them from the pan.
- 3. Lift foil out of pan, turn bars over and use serrated knife to cut into squares. Enjoy!
