Saucy Meat Ball Casserole
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/4 lb. pork sausage
- 1/2 c. dry bread crumbs
- 1 2/3 c. evaporated milk
- 2 Tbsp. chopped onions
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can cream of mushroom
- 1 Tbsp. parsley
- 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can cream of celery
- 1 1/3 c. flour
- 3 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/3 c. oleo
- 1 egg
- 1/2 lb. shredded Cheddar cheese
- Combine beef, pork, bread crumbs, 1/3 cup evaporated milk, onions and pepper.
- Mix well.
- Shape by tablespoons into meatballs. Brown.
- Cover.
- Cook 10 minutes.
- Place in 2 1/2-quart casserole. Combine both soups, 1 cup evaporated milk and 1/2 cup water.
- Heat until steaming.
- Pour over meatballs.
- Top with biscuits.
