Pecan-Cheese Crispies

  1. Combine cheese & butter in a large mixing bowl; beat at medium speed with an electric mixer until blended.
  2. Add hot sauce and mustard.
  3. Gradually add flours, mixing until blended.
  4. Stir in cereal.
  5. Shape dough into 1" balls .
  6. Place on ungreased cookie sheets and flatten with a fork; press a pecan half in center of each cracker if desired.
  7. Bake at 350 for 12-14 minutes.
  8. To freeze:
  9. Let wafers cool completely on wire racks. Transfer to airtight containers & freeze. Thaw at room temperature for 1 hour before serving.
