Sausage Casserole
- 1 can(28oz) baked beans
- 1 can(20oz) red kidney beans
- 1 can(16oz) chick peas, drained
- 1/2 cup chopped onions
- 1/4 cup chopped celery
- 1 lb polish kielbasa, sliced 1/4 inch thick
- 1 lb smoked sausage, sliced 1/4 inch thick
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1 can (8oz) tomato sauce
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp garlic
- dash Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp dry mustard
- 1/2 cup red wine
- Combine all ingredients in a 3 quart baking dish and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
- Spoon off any excess liquid, but save it in case the casserole gets too thick. Or toss in some more wine.
- Serve this as a main dish with coleslaw and crusty rolls.
