Beer Can Chicken

  1. Mix together all 9 dry ingredients.
  2. Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
  3. Rub down the chicken and it's cavity with the vegetable oil. Season the chicken with rub mixture remember to season the cavity.
  4. Pour out 1/4 of the beer and sit the chicken on top of the beer can.
  5. Place the chicken upright in the center of the hot grill and cover.
  6. Cook the chicken for 1-1.5 hours or until an instant read thermometer registers 165.
  7. Once cooked, cover loosely with foil and let rest for 10 mins before carving.
