Peanut Butter Fingers
- 1 stick oleo
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/3 c. peanut butter
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. flour
- 1 c. rolled oats
- 1 c. semi-sweet chocolate bits
- 1/2 c. powdered sugar
- 1/4 c. peanut butter
- 2 to 4 Tbsp. milk
- Cream oleo, sugar, brown sugar, egg and 1/3 cup peanut butter. Add baking soda, salt and vanilla.
- Stir in flour and rolled oats.
- Spread into a greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
- Upon removing from oven, immediately sprinkle with 1 cup chocolate bits.
- Let stand 5 minutes to soften.
- Spread evenly over crust.
- Cool.
- Combine powdered sugar, 1/4 cup peanut butter and enough milk to make spreadable.
- Drizzle over chocolate.
- Cool.
- Cut into bars to serve.
