Mom'S Lasagna

  1. 1. heat oven to 375
  2. 2. heat oil in a 5qt. pot
  3. 3. add garlic and fry until fragrant
  4. 4. add toms and juice
  5. 5. add sugar, salt, pep, dried herbs and simmer until thickened, 20-30 minutes
  6. RICOTTA:
  7. add ricotta to large bowl. add eggs, 1/4C parm, basil (fresh) and pars. (fresh)
  8. LAYER:
  9. sauce / pasta / ricotta / mozz
  10. sauce / pasta / ricotta / mozz
  11. BAKE:
  12. bake in middle rack at 375 for 25 minutes covered with foil.
  13. remove foil and bake for 10 more minutes.
  14. let rest 15 minutes before serving
