French Country Chicken
- 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen baby carrots
- 1 (9 oz.) pkg. frozen whole green beans
- 2 c. mushrooms, sliced
- 1/2 c. celery, thinly sliced
- 1 can (2.8 oz.) French fried onions
- 4 boneless chicken breasts
- 1/2 c. white wine
- 3/4 c. prepared chicken bouillon
- 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- paprika
- Thaw and drain frozen vegetables.
- Combine all vegetables and add 1/2 can French fried onions.
- Skin chicken breasts.
- Place vegetables in the bottom of an 8 x 12-inch baking dish.
- Top with chicken breasts.
- In a small bowl combine wine, bouillon, garlic salt and pepper; pour over chicken.
- Sprinkle with paprika.
- Bake, uncovered, at 375u0b0 for 40 minutes or until chicken is done.
- Baste chicken with wine sauce and top with remaining onions.
- Bake an additional 3 minutes or until onions are golden brown.
- Makes 4 servings.
