Mushroom Melody
- 1 lb. your favorite mushrooms, cleaned
- 6 cloves garlic, chopped or minced
- 1/4 c. olive oil
- 1/4 c. chopped fresh parsley
- 1/4 c. cooking wine (white or rose)
- 1/2 tsp. lemon pepper
- 1 tsp. salt
- 4 leaves fresh basil (when in season)
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1 tsp. quick mixing flour
- 1 lb. linguini (optional)
- In large skillet at a medium heat, simmer oil, chopped mushrooms, garlic, parsley, lemon pepper, salt, basil and butter. Stir until mushrooms are golden and tender.
- Add wine and shortly after sprinkle flour.
- Mix well.
- Cook over low heat for five minutes.
- Add a splash of wine.
- Serve over linguini cooked according to package.
- This is also delicious over tender veal.
