Marlboro Finalist Bbq Sauce #2
- 1/8 cup frozen or fresh raspberries
- 1/8 cup frozen or fresh huckleberries
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1/2 (1 tsp.) seeded and minced jalapeno
- 1/2 cup finely chopped sweet onion
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp. vinegar
- 1 beef bouillon cube
- 1/4 cup hot water
- Combine raspberries, huckleberries, garlic, jalapeno and onion in blender and mix on high speed. While the mixture blends, place ketchup, brown sugar, vinegar, bouillon cube and water in a large saucepan. Stir over moderate heat until sugar is completely dissolved. Pour the blended ingredients into the saucepan and bring to a boil. Stir constantly to keep the sauce from sticking to the pan. Pour the sauce on chicken, beef or pork.
