Famous James'S Spaghetti Sauce
- MEAT:
- 3/4 Lb. Ground Chuck
- 3/4 Lb. Ground Sirloin
- 1 3/4 Lb. Italian Sausage
- SAUCE:
- 6 large Cloves Chopped Garlic
- 1 Cup packed Sweet Onion
- 1/2 Cup Fresh Chopped Parsley
- 1/4 Cup Fresh Basil Chopped (+ 8 leaves added in during cooking).
- 4 tsp. Oregano
- 4 Fresh Bay leaves
- 4 tsp. Sugar
- 1/4 tsp. Fresh Ground Pepper
- 2 tsp. Kosher Salt
- 2 tsp. Accent (msg)
- 5 Cups Hot Water
- 6-6oz. Contadina Tomato paste or 5-7oz jars Bionaturae Tomato Paste
- 7 Cups or 2-28oz. Whole Peeled Italian Tomato's Canned (Bionaturae or Cento)
- Over high heat brown your meat and onions together in a stock pot.
- Add parsley and garlic cook for 3 minutes.
- Add hot water, Tomatoes, Tomato Paste, accent, bay leaves, sugar, pepper, salt, basil, and oregano.
- Let simmer for 3 hours or until thick.
- Add basil leaves while cooking.
- Add salt and pepper to taste.
- 8-12 servings
