London Broil
- 1 1/2 tsp. Accent
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. minced onion
- 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
- 1/2 tsp. powdered rosemary
- 1/4 tsp. ground ginger
- 1 tsp. whole peppercorn
- 1/4 c. lemon juice
- 1/2 c. oil
- 1 clove garlic, split
- 1 London broil (2 to 2 1/2 lb.)
- Mix together Accent, salt, sugar, onion, dry mustard, rosemary, ginger and peppercorn.
- Add lemon juice; mix well.
- Add salad oil and garlic.
- Place steak in a glass dish and add marinade. Marinate in refrigerator 3 to 4 hours (or overnight), turning meat occasionally.
- Remove meat from marinade and place on broiler rack. Broil 4 to 5 inches from heat for 5 minutes on each side.
- Cut steak in thin diagonal slices.
- If meat in 1 1/2 inches thick, it may take 7 to 8 minutes per side.
- Check by cutting into center. Don't cook too done or will be tough.
