Apricot Sparkle
- 1 family size apricot jello
- 1 1/2 c. cold water
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. pineapple juice
- 1 small cream cheese
- 1 c. chopped nuts
- 1 c. small marshmallows
- 2 c. hot water
- 1 egg, beaten
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 pkg. instant whip
- 1/2 c. pineapple
- 2 diced bananas
- Pour 2 cups hot water over jello.
- When dissolved, put in 1 1/2 cups cold water.
- Refrigerate and start to congeal.
- Mix flour, sugar and egg.
- Add pineapple juice and butter.
- Cook over low heat until thickens.
- While still warm, add cream cheese. Whip instant whip and fold into custard after it has cooled. Set aside. Add nuts, pineapple, marshmallows and diced bananas to the jello mixture.
- Put in flat dish and spread custard over; put in refrigerator.
