Sea Goddess Pasta Salad
- 8 oz. orichette pasta
- 1 env. dry herb and garlic salad
- dressing mix
- 1/2 lb. medium shrimp, peeled, deveined and cooked
- 1 3/4 cup fresh asparagus tips
- and pieces, blanched (or good quality canned)
- 1 can (10 1/2 oz. white clam spaghetti sauce
- 1/3 c. mayonnaise
- 1 small jar roasted red peppers, cut in strips
- 1/3 c. Parmesan cheese
- Cook pasta according to package directions. Rinse with cold water to cool quickly; set aside. In small bowl, whisk together clam sauce, salad dressing mix and mayonnaise. In large bowl, combine pasta, shrimp, peppers and asparagus. Toss with clam mixture and Parmesan cheese. Cover and refrigerate at least two hours (pasta will absorb dressing.)
