Fruit & Cheese, Oil & Syrup Delight
- 1 pear
- 1 red apple
- 1 green apple
- (Washington apples preferably)
- 2 fresh peaches
- 150-200 grams (5-7 ounces) Panela or Mozzarella cheese
- 1 can of peaches in syrup
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 orange
- 1. Cut the apples, peaches and pear in thin, half-moon slices. Do the same with the cheese.
- 2. Place the fruit and cheese slices alternately around a flat plate. No special array needed, though the red apple-cheese-pear-peach-chesse-green apple-cheese looks beautiful.
- 3. Mix the olive oil and the canned syrup (use those peaches for something else) and pour the mix on the fruit and cheese.
- 4. Add the (half) orange juice on the salad. Not a must, just to freshen things up if it's too oily or sweet.
- 5. Then, a comer!
