Homemade Oatmeal Cream Pies

  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. Combine flour, salt, baking soda, and cinnamon. Cream butter and sugars. Beat in molasses in vanilla.
  3. Add flour mixture. Beat until just blended. Add oats.
  4. Bake 10-12 minutes.
  5. Dissolve salt in hot water. Set aside and allow to cool. Combine marshmallow fluff, shortening, sugar, and vanilla. Mix until fluffy. Add water, mix well.
  6. Spread filling on flat side of cookie; make sandwich.
