Italian Pasta-E-Fazool
- 1/2 Box Ditali Pasta cooked al dente
- 2 onions diced
- 2 carrots diced in small squares
- 2 stalks celery diced in small squares
- 1/2 lb bacon cut in 1/2 inch pieces, about 8-9 slices
- 10 cloves garlic sliced thin
- 1 28oz can dices tomatoes w/juice
- 1 28oz can tomato sauce
- 2 15oz cans cannelloni beans with the juice
- 1 15oz can Red kidney beans with the juice
- 2 15oz cans chicken broth
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley
- Salt & pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
- 1.took pasta al dente according to box directions
- 2.try bacon until crisp then remove to paper towel to dry
- 3.tn bacon fat saute onions, garlic, celery and carrots on low heat for 10 minutes.
- 4.tdd all the beans w/juice, chicken broth, diced tomato & the sauce bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes.
- 5.tdd the Pasta, Bacon, cheese and parsley cook one minute.
- 6.taste and season with salt and pepper
